Gear Up: TVC :60

Our commercial starts on a co-ed team locker room where The Antibodies are gathered. They are stretching, getting hyped up, and clearly preparing for the Big Game. The camera centers on the female Head Coach, about to make the pre-game speech.

COACH: Listen up, team! When I look around this room, I see a fighting team of brave antibodies. A team of

protectors! 

But the flu is coming in strong. So I won’t sugarcoat it –we’re going to need each of you on your A game. 

The team glances around nervously as the coach continues. 

COACH: The good news is – Anthony, the human we’re tasked to protect…

We zoom out quickly on Anthony. We see him reading a book on a park bench, in total contrast to the intensity of the locker room.  An arrow that says ’Anthony’ pops up. People around him are coughing and sneezing.

COACH: …just got his flu shot, which supplied us with strong new gear to defend against the flu.

We zoom back into the locker room. The camera moves around the room as the players unzip their equipment bags, pulling out new helmets, shoulder pads and knee pads labeled ‘FLU SHOT.’ The players try on their new gear and cheer.  

COACH: That’s right. We’ve upgraded our game with this new equipment. They give you a little extra boost – so

When you step out into that bloodstream  remember, in the face of viral adversity we do not falter, we

The Antibodies enthusiastically start cheering and clapping. They exit the locker room and run towards a sports field- AKA the bloodstream. We hear the announcer say…
